What education did you have before you took the 3D Animation course?

Before attending Seneca I had absolutely no training in 3D whatsoever. I only did some doodles and joke animations (that were really bad) in my spare time.

Tell us a bit about your experience at the college.

Overall I had a great time at Seneca. The teachers were fun, enthusiastic and went above and beyond to help the students out if they ever needed it. The atmosphere is what really made it feel great. Very laid back overall but you still had to bust your hump when it came down to it. I quickly learned that a good attitude and generosity amongst friends helped to grow the group at a very fast pace.

How do you use the education you got at Seneca in your job today?

I actually use what I've learned from Seneca quite a bit to be honest. The nice thing about Seneca over most online schools and other programs is that they taught the students a little from each facet of the 3D pipeline.Students then kind of fell into what they enjoyed out of their experience at Seneca.  Some may not like that but it really helped me to progress in my career knowing how the entire process works.

What advice would you give potential students who are thinking of taking the course?

I would say definitely do your research with anything that is a major commitment. If you do decide to take the course and you work your butt of, you will without a doubt come away with the knowledge to make it in the industry.
